“Hearts of the East Side” is a new public creative installation project that celebrates the diverse cultural influences of the area. The installations will officially open with a free neighborhood kick-off party. “Hearts of the East Side” features 11 steel heart installations designed by local artists utilizing inspiration from the art assets and culture of the historic East Austin district.
The artists include Evan Voyles, Selena Souders, Todd Campbell, Bale Creek Allen, Luis Angulo, Morgan Zator, Miles Starkey, Chris Levack, Erin Ashley Shook, Rachel Dickson, and Nate Nordstrom.
