Elephants Austin will host Giant Steps, an evening of raising a toast and raising funds to build an elephant clinic. It will be a casual affair supporting the fundraising campaign of their friends at Trunks Up.
The campaign is for building a clinic for sick and abused elephants at Elephant Nature Park in Thailand. Guests can listen along to Candler Wilkinson IV and friends play music and peruse and bid on a silent auction. Speakers will talk about the cause along with a short video about Lek Chailert, the founder of Elephant Nature Park. As the herds continue to grow at Elephant Nature Park, so does the need for a state of the art clinic that can provide the urgent care these elephants require.
