Empire Control Room & Garage will open their doors for the first time in over seven months for a three-day #SOSFEST watch party fundraiser. They're hosting this fundraiser to raise support to reopen safely and bring back Empire for the community, their staff, and for live music in Austin.

#SOSFEST, aka Save Our Stages Fest, is a three-day virtual benefit festival with artists and organizations rallying to the aid of independent music venues at risk of closing their doors permanently. Featuring original performances and commentary from diverse talent across genres and shot live at iconic indie stages, #SOSFEST aims to preserve the nation’s independent live music scene. The festival is raising funds for the NIVA Emergency Relief Fund, where any member organization can apply for support.

Livestreamed performances will include Brittany Howard, Dave Matthews, Foo Fighters, Jason Mraz, Kelsea Ballerini, The Lumineers, Macklemore, Marshmello, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Phoebe Bridgers, Portugal. The Man, Reba McEntire, The Roots, and more.

This socially-distanced event will feature a limited number of pods in their outdoor space and contactless ordering from tables. Masks will be required for entry.
