The Encyclopedia Show Austin presents: INVASIVE SPECIES

eventdetail

This month, we're ready to delight your eyes and ears and brains with a literary exploration of INVASIVE SPECIES!

Flora, fauna, giant, tiny: we're looking at the concepts and examples of invasive species that have made others' lives a real pain in the toosh with their habitat-upsetting natures. Cannibal snails? Got 'em. Walking catfish? No duh. Dandelions? Yep, they're an invasive species too!

This month, the show welcomes fiction writer Jess Stoner, stand-up comedian Brendan K. O'Grady, Compound Storytelling producer Seamus Martin, and Austin Bat Cave executive producer Manuel Gonzales to share their versions of the truth about Invasive Species with all of you.

Plus, of course, your cast of characters from The Institute of Human Knowledge and Hygiene, your delightful hosts, the loathsome Fact Checker, and the dulcet tones of The Volumes.
