The Encyclopedia Show here to make you do two things: learn something new about the world around and laugh so hard you forget what it is that you just learned.

This month, the presenters and lecturers of the Encyclopedia Show want to teach you everything about Alan Turing, the British mathematician and pioneer of computer science. What else is there to learn about Turing other than that he was influential with nerdy stuff like "algorithms" and "computation"? How about the fact that he was convicted for homosexuality when it was still illegal in the United Kingdom? There's plenty more juicy tidbits to learn about through the course of the evening.
