Estampas de la Raza features contemporary prints by Chicano, Latino, and Mexican American artists. This landmark book includes work from the Romo collection.
The book signing and conversation will serve as a rare opportunity for Austinites to get an in-depth view into Latino art and culture from various perspectives. Attendees can look forward to informed, dynamic speakers such as Lyle Williams, the curator of prints and drawings at the McNay Museum, art collectors Drs. Harriet and Ricardo Romo, and Sam Coronado, artist, educator, and founder of the Serie Project.
