Fantastic Fest is the largest genre film festival in the U.S., specializing in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action and just plain fantastic movies from all around the world.
Among the films being shown will be the U.S. premiere of David Gordon Green's Halloween, which will also serve as the opening night film; the world premiere of the bone-chilling World War II horror-thriller, Overlord, produced by J.J. Abrams; the U.S. premiere of Gaspar Noe's Climax; closing night film, Bad Times at the El Royale, starring Jeff Bridges, Chris Hemsworth, Jon Hamm, Dakota Johnson, and Cynthia Erivo; and the North American premiere of Terry Gilliam's long-awaited The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.
