Austin's largest Asian Food Festival competition, Far East Fest allows visitors to embrace Asian culture through their stomachs, and through the diverse and glorious world of Asian cuisine. The festival will feature 30-40 restaurants cooking Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Indian fare. Far East Fest seeks to celebrate all of greater Austin’s growing Asian communities and promote restaurant growth through this amazing, all-you-can-eat festival.
Attendees and judges will taste and rate the participating restaurants, who will be competing for awards based on creativity to overall flavor. Winners will be announced near the end of the event. Additionally, there will be a no-handed noodle eating competition, live performances, activities for all ages, and special VIP surprise guests.
