The springtime sip and stroll open house will showcase Boggy Creek Farm, Hausbar Urban Farm & Guest Haus, Rain Lilly Farm and Springdale Farm and feature chefs from Austin’s most beloved restaurants who will provide bites created from fresh farm ingredients, while local beverage artisans offer sips. Spend a Sunday afternoon strolling the vibrant fields of local crops and visit with chickens, donkeys, rabbits and the farmers themselves as they provide guided tours of the bustling farms, located within walking distance of each other. Learn about growing your own food as the farmers share their experiences and answer gardening questions. Proceeds from the rain or shine event will benefit the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance, a national organization that supports independent family farmers and protects a healthy and productive food supply for American consumers.
