At Farmshare Austin’s annual You (and We) Pick, guests can enjoy the seasonal bounty while supporting Farmer Starter scholarships to grow the next generation of Central Texas farmers.
There are two ways to participate:
- Reserve a box of just-picked Farmshare organic veggies plus local artisanal food items. Guests will pick up their veggies anytime between 10 am-noon at the farm or at a North or South Austin location. Guests can stick around to chat with the Farmshare team about food access, farmer training and farmland preservation work.
- Sign up to tour the farm and have a hands-on veggie harvesting experience. Tour slots are limited. Each 30 minute tour will be up to six people and guided by one of the farmers. Guests can get their veggie questions answered and enjoy a chance to harvest their own veggies.
Cost is $50 per veggie box (includes organic Farmshare veggies + local artisanal food items), and $10 per person for 30 minute farm tour and veggie harvesting experience.
Social distancing and masks are required at the farm and pickup sites.
