The University of Texas Food Lab has launched its first ever Food Challenge, an early stage business start-up competition encouraging innovation in four key categories within the global food system. Teams will present their business ideas before a panel of judges and attendees with $30,000 in cash prizes at stake.
The Food Lab provides awareness of food issues, encourages and motivates students to engage with innovative food systems research and provides support to startups that leverage university research.
