Elliot Rogers’ art combines aspects of surrealism, abstraction, and psychedelic visionary art. Using vibrant colors, mathematical forms, and repetition, he constructs hypnotic spaces, which reflect inner meditative visions and explore the connection between the self and the alien other.
The opening reception will feature live music performance by Fyooɡ (aka William Allan Ross), as well as a preview of Rogers' upcoming album of electronic music, Mystic Prism. There will be complimentary creative spirits from Dulce Vida Tequila -Austin, a tasty, dark, "Recalcitrant Dockhand" beer from Black Star Co-op Pub & Brewery, as well as coffee from Fat Cats Organic Coffee & Desserts.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through January 5, 2019.
