The Paramount Theatre will present the Harvey Relief Benefit: Comedy Helps. One hundred percent of the proceeds, including ticket, concessions and merchandise sales, will directly benefit the American Red Cross and their efforts to help the people of Texas in the wake of Hurricane Harvey.
The benefit will feature Ron White, Iliza Shlesinger, and Chris D'Elia. Years before he became a household name as the cigar-chomping, Scotch-swilling charter member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, White cut his teeth at every comedy club in Austin. Shlesinger currently hosts a late-night talk show called Truth & Iliza on Freeform, and in November of 2017 she’ll publish her first book, Girl Logic. D’Elia is a stand-up comedian, actor, and podcast host known for his roles on NBC sitcoms Whitney and Undateable, as well as his podcast Congratulations with Chris D’Elia and his recent Netflix special, Man on Fire.
