Hill Country Galleria is teaming up with the City of Bee Caves Parks & Recreation to host the first ever Bicycles, Blues & Brews, in celebration of the city’s initiative to create hike and bike trails connecting residential neighborhoods to retailers. Guests can sing along to the blues as they enjoy beer tastings from local breweries and learn about bicycle safety, watch demos, and rent bikes courtesy of Bicycle Sport Shop. Bicycle Sport Shop will be giving test rides on their electric bikes and doing a giveaway for a chance to win a bike valued at $450.
Austin Bike Zoo will also be offering their butterfly bikes for rides, Pop’topia will be selling popsicles and there will be free face painting for family-friendly fun. The event will be in the Central Plaza from 2-7 pm, with the blues continuing with the Galleria’s Saturday Night Concert Series, featuring a performance by Guy Forsyth Blues Band.
