"Heatwave," a group exhibition of new works by resident artists, signals the end of another hot Texas summer while premiering exciting multidisciplinary art by a collective of up-and-coming makers. Visitors will enjoy a range of work including paintings, drawings, photography and multimedia installations by featured artists Dan Adams, Chris Ancarrow, Taylor Bailey, Carly Blaine, Monica “MB” Bushong, Marcella Colavecchio, Ben Faubion, Rachel Spits, Bradford Smitherman, and Lloyd Wyse.
The ContraCommon Lounge will feature live music and immersive installations by guest artists, as well as food and drinks. Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through September 22.
