Communities around the world continue to experience the awesomeness and devastation of extreme weather as Earth's climate continues to change. Dr. Kevin Kloesel will talk about the science behind extreme weather events such as tornadoes and super storms, and how meteorologists work with variability in weather forecasts. The lecture will include highly engaging audience participation activities. The pre-lecture community science fair will include a green screen where people can experience what it might be like to be a TV weather reporter.
