Presented by Hot Science - Cool Talks and the Paramount Theatre, Planet Texas 2050 will be a lively discussion of Texas’s challenges and potential solutions by leading experts in their fields: Majora Carter, Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, and Dr. Michael Webber. Moderating the discussion will be Evan Smith, CEO and co-founder of The Texas Tribune.
Music will be provided by singer and multi-instrumentalist Guy Forsyth, an Austin musician who has long enjoyed praise for his dazzling live shows and rich Americana and blues roots sound. His songs incorporate a unique mix of styles and his sound is at once polished, raw and compelling.
