Open Read/Collective Listen is an evening comprised of an open read event in which attendants can take the platform for five minutes and share selections of their favorite poems, short stories, or storybooks. Part open mic, part reading, part story-time for adults, this is an event of collective listening and engagement of the written word. Guests can bring works by a preferred author, own work, or peruse the communal books in the gallery. This event is happening during Open Canopy so wandering is encouraged.
