ICOSA Collective will present "After Some Reflection," a juried group exhibition curated by Jill Schroeder. Schroeder chose the 10 artists from the 226 submissions received in response to ICOSA’s open call, due to a common thread of self-discovery.

Many artists go through some form of self-reflection as they create. They contemplate personal identities, social undercurrents, and cultural landscapes. These artists show strength by not downplaying their individuality or differences.

Society has many layers. "After Some Reflection" brings together voices of solidity and a thread of acceptance of one’s differences because there is so much that we need to grapple with, to delineate, and interpret.

Featured artists include Marilyn Jolly, Yevgenia Davidoff, Kelly R Johnston, Justin Korver, Charles Heppner, Samantha Modder, Yi-An Pan, Quinn In, Sherry Tseng Hill, and Jade Walker.

Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until November 20.
