Get ready for a music experience like few others in Austin or Texas. Following the success of the Jazz OUTside series started in 2012 at Kenny Dorham's Backyard, which closed the 2013 dates with a Super Session/Jamgasm of nearly 8 hours of non-stop improvised music, now comes a reach for the new record of 12 hours. That's 12 hours non-stop with a plethora of artists and musicians, including some of the best around, rotating to keep it going.
Hosted by WD-41 (Willie Oteri and Dave Lasko) in conjunction with Ricardo Acevedo and Lost Cat Magnet, with members of word/jazz lowstars, Brazilian Space Program and many more including very special guests to be announced soon. One never knows who might show up at a Super Session. Past events have featured names like Stu Hamm, Tony Levin and Pat Mastelotto to name just a few.
