Bisexual Sadness is about what it sounds like - the specific loneliness of being a bisexual woman in love with a straight man. It treats with curiosity and respect the questions of belonging, identity, cultural migrations, and kinship.
Faye is getting married to a man she truly loves, but at the same time wishing he was a woman. She’s sad that she will have to fight harder to be a part of the queer communities in which she’s always found a home.
