Julia C. Butridge Gallery presents "Colored Sensations: A Synesthete’s Vision of Letters, Number & Time" by Jenny Swannack.
Synesthesia is described as a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.
Swannack is a synesthete, seeing letters, numbers, and time in color. "Colored Sensations" represents each month of the year and a certain date, reflecting the colors Swannack sees in each month and number.
The exhibition will be on display through January 27, 2024.
