The Here Be Monsters New Music Festival is a two-day festival of Austin's indie-classical music scene, featuring 20 performances and a dozen world premieres by Austin composers.
Performers will include Invoke, Highway Lights, Kraken Quartet, Density512, Golden Hornet, Lola, One Ounce Opera, Unwound Sound, Goliath Was Bigfoot, Panoramic Voices, Man Woman Friend Computer, Less Than<10 Music, Vamp, Kenken Gorder and Friends, Studio A, Inversion Ensemble, Beerthoven, Austin Unconducted, Line Upon Line Percussion, and Tetractys New Music.
Each performance will be a short 20-minute set, designed to reveal and celebrate the unique culture and identity of Austin's indie-classical music creators.
