KMFA Classical 89.5's Spring 2024 Offbeat Concert Series showcases a performance of Adoration & Remembrance from indie-folk quartet American Dreamer.
Adoration & Remembrance explores loss and the many ways that we honor those who have passed on before us. The program’s center revolves around two works. The first of these is Florence Price’s Adoration, one of several semi-secular works in the composer’s output. Paired with Price’s work is a composition by Giovanni Bottesini called Concerto for Double Bass No. 2 in B Minor, performed by American Dreamer founding member, Dana Marie Wygmans. This performance is dedicated to the memory of Draylen Mason.
Tickets include a pre-concert chat beginning at 6 pm as well as complimentary sips from Tito's Handmade Vodka, STILL Austin, and Georgetown Winery & Vineyard.
