The Clans' Battle of the Bowmen is an archery competition between the Camping Clans at Sherwood Forest Faire. It is a fund raiser for the Knights of the Grail. The KoG provides equine therapy to assists veterans who suffer with PTSD.
This event is open to any group participating in the Sherwood Forest Faire season, and encourages archers in any historical discipline to raise funds for this worthy cause, and meet on the field of battle to pit their skills against each other in a fun and unique competition setting. Awards will be given for the Clan that raises the most funds for the charity, as well as for the Clan with the highest competition score.
