After a successful few months on the air, KOKE is taking its next step into the modern music scene by bringing live Texas music back to Hill’s Café with a free fall series.
KOKE’s Fall Free Music Series kicks off this Thursday, Nov. 1, and will return every Thursday in November (except for Thanksgiving) with a mix of the Lone Star State’s under-the-radar and much-revered acts.
Opening acts will hit the famed stage at 7 p.m. each Thursday, followed by headliners at 8 p.m., all which can be heard on air if you can’t make it down to the South Congress hub. The live broadcast will last as long as the bands keep playing (no corporate stipulations here).
Nov. 1: Tessy Lou and Gary P. Nunn
Nov. 8: Doug Moreland, Monte Warden, Jason Allen, Sunny Leigh Shipley, Members of The Trisha’s
Nov. 15: The Rankin Twins, Ryan Beaver
Nov. 29: Chad Johnson, Dale Watson, James McMurtry
