La Condesa will once again host its sixth annual Cinco de Mayo Downtown Block Party, which takes over the entire block of West 2nd St. between San Antonio and Guadalupe, filling the street with a celebration of the rich heritage and culture of Mexico. Families can enjoy free activities such as face painting, balloon makers, dancing and live music from Este Vato, Bombasta, DJ Chicken George and Chorizo Funk, plus many more. Area shops will also take part with special gifts, novelties and sweets with delicious food from La Condesa.
