The Lake Travis Film Festival will kick off Halloween weekend with an outdoor cinema screening of Zombieland. After a virus turns most people into zombies, the world's surviving humans remain locked in an ongoing battle against the hungry undead. Four survivors - Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) and his cohorts Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) - abide by a list of survival rules and zombie-killing strategies as they make their way toward a rumored safe haven in Los Angeles.
The evening will include costumes and contests. Verdes Mexican Parrilla will be onsite selling tacos, beer, wine, cocktails, and theater snacks. The film will start at sunset (7:45 pm).
Guests can bring their own chairs and asked to maintain social distancing. Costumes are optional, but masks are required. By purchasing a ticket, attendees agree to COVID-19 protocol as set forth by the City of Bee Cave.
