Landmarks' Paws for Public Art program brings miniature goats, hedgehogs, bunnies, chicks, and other animals to campus, with petting zoos stationed at four iconic works from Landmarks’ collection.
Paws for Public Art will highlight how mental health breaks with art and animals can alleviate stress and will be especially helpful to students as they prepare for midterm exams. At 6 pm that evening, Landmarks will host a special breath work and sound healing program led by Sara Palma inside James Turrell’s Skyspace, "The Color Inside".
Petting Zoo locations include Mark di Suvero: "Clock Knot," Nancy Rubins: "Monochrome for Austin," Sol LeWitt: "Circle with Towers," and Joel Perlman: "Square Tilt."
