The music scene in Austin makes the city stand out from the rest, as it's home to greats like Austin City Limits, the longest-running music TV series in the world; and iconic blues venue Antone’s, which turns 50 this year. As Austin continues to grow, the city is challenged by how to maintain a creative spirit and be a welcoming and supportive place for artists.

The speakers at this event will reflect on this changing landscape and what it has meant for our landmark venues, local businesses, and musicians in this ever-changing industry.

Speakers include Will Bridges, co-owner and operator, Antone’s Nightclub; Co-owner and partner, Arlyn Studios; Graham Williams, CEO/Executive of Talent Buying, Resound Presents; and Carrie Rodriguez, Singer-songwriter, violinist and 2025 UT Songwriter in Residence. The event will be moderated by Andy Langer, Senior Director of Live Music & Entertainment, UT Austin.
