Line upon line percussion begins the third year of their award-winning, self-presented series with an exploration of the volume least frequently associated with percussion: soft. A brand new piece by Joel Love will be premiered alongside a commission from Austin New Music Co-op’s Travis Weller and the work of 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winner, John Luther Adams. To provide a physical manifestation of the space present within a subdued dynamic, the entire program will take place alongside the choreography of two of Austin’s most imaginative dance minds, Rosalyn Nasky and Lisa del Rosario.
