Olivas has been creating fascinating new work and exploring her existing series further. With the time spent at home during lockdown, she has been “playing,” which is where she says creativity lives. Exploring new materials led to the production of these innovative works.
Olivas is an Austin-based abstract artist with over 10 years of experience in creating art. She is known for her ethereal “Cosmos Series” paintings resembling outer space as well as her collage work “Ruins Series”. She has exhibited widely, and her work is in collections internationally.
Following the opening day, the exhibition will be on display through July 24. There will also be a meet and greet with the artist on June 12 and July 24.
