To celebrate the return of South by Southwest to Austin, Link & Pin welcomes the return of Austin artist and UT prof, Rohit Rao, and "Rohit Records": a record store for bands that don’t exist. "Rohit Records" is an art installation that mimics a record store – filled with album covers, concert posters and band t-shirts – but everything is created by the artist, Rohitash Rao.
Included in the show are QR codes that link to both sound recordings and music videos. So, you could say "Rohit Records" is an art show, a music show, and a mini film festival, all rolled into one.
Following the opening day, the exhibit will be on display until March 26.
