Link & Pin Gallery presents En Route Productions first installation of "The Winter Modern," a moving art installation and their production of Sarah Ruhl’s Dead Man’s Cell Phone, a dark-edged, absurd, romantic comedy.
"The Winter Modern" opens January 7 and 8 at 8 pm. Link & Pin will exhibit the visual art of local artists Sarah Presson (mixed-media collage), Nick Schnitzer’s (3-D wall hanging work), and Stephen Pruitt (photography) on the walls surrounding the intimate performance of Dead Man's Cell Phone. The production will be minimal and every word tangible. This unique, intimate opportunity seats 25 guests.
There will be an artist talk (with visual artists and performance artists) and an opening reception on January 8 from 5-7 pm. On January 15 and 22, "The Winter Modern" will have two, intimate, Manhattan Matinees at Link & Pin as well. Tickets for the play can be purchased here.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through January 23.
