The Long Center Facebook

Long Center for the Performing Arts and Luck Reunion will present the return of Long Live Music, a socially distanced concert series that is dedicated to bringing the excitement of national touring acts back into Austin’s world-renowned live music scene.

Schedule of events

  • March 27: Patty Griffin with Carrie Rodriguez
  • March 28: Billy Strings
  • April 3: Nikki Lane & Jade Bird with Sir Woman
  • April 4: Blind Boys of Alabama

Tickets will be limited and sold in pre-marked, socially-distanced squares on the lawn that each accommodate four people. Premium Seating on the lawn includes the best front and center seats with up-close views, free appetizers, dedicated food and beverage service, blankets and chairs for extra comfort, and a commemorative poster. Guests will be socially distant, enjoying the show from the best seat in town.

The spring concert series will help support Musically Fed, a nonprofit organization that is working across the country to provide unemployed musicians and music industry workers with access to fresh food, dry goods, and other necessities during the pandemic. Long Live Music will be raising funds and collecting non-perishable food donations in support of Musically Fed’s industry focused food drive to take place in Austin in April.
