For more than half a century, Mariachi Vargas de Tecatitlán has been considered one of the greatest mariachi bands in the world, but it can trace its origins all the back to 1898 in the southern Jalisco village of Tecatitlán. Now in its sixth generation of musicians, Mariachi Vargas comes to Austin with its world-class vocalists and instrumentalists performing their spellbinding showmanship.
