Lysistrata Comedy Festival is a four-day women's comedy festival featuring stand-up, improv, sketch, short film, and more. Birthed from the minds of four comedians and writers, the fest is named for the ancient Greek play in which Lysistrata was able to gather women together and use unconventional means to stop war.
The festival will celebrate women and the power of their collective work, taking over Austin for four days of nonstop comedy. Hosted by Sarah Spear, Angelina Martin, Jemischa Albo, and more, the festival will include over 50 performers and short films.
