Instrumentalists join the UT Chamber Singers to perform the Bach Cantata, Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern (How beautifully shines the morning star), BWV I. The discussion will compare the techniques and effects of showcasing light in Bach’s work and a fifteenth-century panel painting of The Madonna and Child from the circle of Michelino de Besozzo.
