The third annual Austin Forging Competition is a unique event celebrating the art of blacksmithing. It includes a solid contestant lineup, a top-tier selection of the country’s highest level of contemporary metalworkers. The event will offer a rare, up-close experience of the dynamic processes these accomplished artists use to manipulate their raw materials into works of art.

During the day-long event, visitors will be able to enjoy tours of the Community First Village, live music provided by several bands, lunch (including vegetarian options) at the on-site Community Grille, and a pop-up market featuring handmade products created by the talented formerly homeless neighbors.
