To celebrate Modern Rocks Gallery’s fourth birthday, owner Steven Walker is launching "The Art Of The Contact Sheet,” a curated collection of large format contact sheet prints of David Bowie, AC/DC, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Richards, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Ramones, and more, taken by leading rock photographers both past and present.
The “Art of the Contact Sheet” features the work by the legendary Columbia Records photographer, Don Hunstein, as well as the photographer responsible for the iconic David Bowie Aladdin Sane album cover, Brian Duffy. Other leading music photographers on show include Kirk Weddle, Tracy Anne Hart, Alan Messer, Allan Ballard, Matt Anker, David Corio, and more. Cocktails will be provided by our friends at Provision Spirits with their award-winning Ben Milam Whiskey.
