Aldrich Street’s Got Talent is a virtual talent show taking the place of its signature annual event, Aldrich Street Fair. The talent show will be emceed by Taylor Ellison, co-host of CBS Austin’s We Are Austin and will air on Facebook Live, where viewers can tune in and vote for their favorite act on social media.
The Central Texas community was invited to send in talent video submissions in early September for consideration. A committee has selected the top five finalists to be unveiled during the event. Each of the five finalists will receive a prize: Four finalists will receive a $100 gift card to their choice of an Aldrich Street business, and the grand prize winner will receive $500 in gift cards to their choice of Aldrich Street businesses, including places like Alamo Drafthouse, Thinkery, Colleen’s Kitchen, barre3, Rebel Cheese, and more.
Viewers will have until Friday, September 25 to vote for their favorite video, and the winner will be unveiled on Facebook.
