The trees around Central Texas have taken a beating recently, and Neill-Cochran House Museum wanted to show them how much they're appreciated through art.

Local artists will present work on the theme of Texas trees. The artwork will be placed before a jury who will determine three winners and an honorable mention, which will be announced at the opening reception.

The exhibition will remain on display through May 7.
