OLA Gallery will present the work of Houston artist, Paul Meyer. This event will feature works he refers to as "Relief Paintings," with 5 percent of sales going towards Rebuild Texas and their hurricane relief efforts.
Meyer’s work is comprised of found objects, debris, mortar, cement, plaster, burlap, and sometimes older, recycled paintings. His figurative and abstract textured works create a rough ambience that hint at his Texan background. In the words of Meyer, his textured compositions aim to capture.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through January 15.
