Oro Dance Company presents the multidisciplinary production, Hecha de Oro, which follows the story of the Yoruba deity of fertility, beauty, and love: Oshun. Through Afro-Latin dance and music, witness the power, passion, and generosity of Oshun, who despite being dismissed for her soft, feminine nature, is one of the most resilient Orisha of the Yoruba pantheon. Oshun represents the voice and strength of the disenfranchised, and the sensuality and divinity of creation.

The audience will experience the magical fusion of salsa, flamenco, Afro-Cuban folk, Cuban modern, hip-hop, and non-binary partner dance for a journey through courage and sacrifice to find self-love, acceptance, and freedom.
