Parkside present 10th Anniversary Celebration

Parkside is celebrating 10 years in downtown Austin as the city's first gastropub. In addition to half-price oysters and bubbles, they will be featuring expert guest “shuckers” from two of parkside’s purveyors, American Mussel Harvesters, Inc. in Rhode Island and Rappahannock River Oysters, LLC in Virginia.

Fans of the infamous Fluke with Lemon and Almond are in for a treat as that dish and other throwbacks, such as Blond Pâté, Doughnut Holes, and Baby Backs with Jalapeño, will be featured one a day for $10. The bar will be pouring perennial favorites like Strawberry Sunshine, the Gold Cup, and the parkside 78-a flavorful mix of Old Highborn Gin, rosemary, rhubarb, citrus, and bubbles.

Diners can expect other treats and surprises during the 10-day extravaganza, like dessert wine, 10 freshly baked made-from- scratch cookies to take home and enjoy, Parkside gift cards, and a 10-percent-off voucher to use at their next dining experience.
