In the coming year, the lower 12 acres of Pease Park, known as Kingsbury Commons, will be going through a major transformation. While still maintaining the natural beauty and historic character of the park, new design plans include a refurbished Tudor Cottage and event terrace, innovative nature-based playscape, interactive water feature, one-of-a-kind treehouse, and additional native planting.

ThisĀ Open House event at the Pease Park picnic tables will preview design plans for Kingsbury Commons, with input from the public welcome. Lead designers, Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, will present the new ideas and lead a walk through the park, pointing out future new features and improvements.

Snacks and beverages will be provided, and children and pets are welcome (dogs must be on leash).
