The Texas Wildflower Run is a traditional 3 to 5.5-mile route that travels on the Ann & Roy Butler Hike & Bike Trail along Lady Bird Lake. One of the best times of the year to plant wildflower seeds in Texas is late winter before the spring showers. At the event native Texas wildflower seed packets will be provided. There a several green spaces along the trail that are sheltered from spring time grass mowing and attendees will attempt to seed these areas.  Enjoy cinnamon rolls, coffee, hot chocolate and other snacks.
