Preservation Austin’s Homes Tour will feature 10 charming homes across Austin, with five unique homes each on Saturday and Sunday. Homes will be open from 10 am-5 pm each day.
On Saturday, they will be hosting the first Homes Tour Block Party in the Rogers-Washington-Holy Cross Historic District. This tight-knit neighborhood tells the story of the Black experience in postwar Austin and features the works of groundbreaking Black architect John S. Chase, FAIA. The Block Party will be held in partnership with the City of Austin’s Equity-based Preservation Plan initiative.
Home addresses will be given to all tour purchasers. Tickets are online only; the Preservation Austin office will not be open for ticket sales.
