Proyecto TEATRO will produce one of Mexico’s most iconic films of all time, Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas (Sex, Shame, and Tears), in its original form: a stage play. The story follows two marriages on the brink of an emotional breakdown that are suddenly surprised by people from their past.

Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas uses snippets of laughter, confessions, and psychological tensions to unpack the marital realities that hide behind wedding pictures and superficial dinner parties, flawed communication, infidelity, sexual fantasies and the loss of individuality.

The play will be performed in Spanish with English supertitles. Recommended for mature audiences.
