International avant garde fashion designer Rocky Gathercole will showcase his 2017 collection at the Rocky Rocks the Runway Part 2 benefit fashion show. In addition to Gathercole, the benefit fashion show will feature Texas designers Lajuana Centrell Williams of LCW Designs, Iionka Designs, and students from Austin School of Fashion Design, as well as a red-carpet reception, live music, brand activations by local lifestyle businesses, and a pop-up shop to order and purchase garments seen on the runway.
The party will open at 4 pm with a glamorous marketplace and two hours of live entertainment from local music from latin jazz darlings, The Brew, saxophone prodigy Blaigne Ayuma Sixon, and The Voice songwriter Brian Pounds. At 6 pm, the fashion show featuring Rocky Gathercole alongside four other Austin designers begins with more entertainment in between each designer.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Faith+Love+Care International Children’s Foundation (FLC), a non-profit organization providing aid to lower income children in the Philippines, Guatemala and deserving beneficiaries across the globe.
